It's like lemonade- Sweet, Tangy, and Refreshing!

First blog of the new year:

Why didn't I post anything during Christmas?

I've been avoiding this little corner of the internet for god knows what reason.

Probably because it didn't feel like news that I finished NANO. But I did, and it felt great when I did... a day early, in fact! But the storyline needs MAJOR work, I need to shift a few things and overhaul the ending.

Badly.

But I did it. Unlike the year I attempted Fallen, I did it. ^_^

Other things:

~ Tarrith has a "look" now. It's been slowly developing, but it's great. He's got the "Bohemian Art Student" thingy going on. Vests or suits, loose tie, fedora, slacks. IT ALL LOOKS GREAT ON HIM. Two thumbs up, bro.

~ My grandma gave me a letter opener shaped like a sword for Christmas. I'm uber-happy over this.

~ My boyfriend gave me a cold for Christmas. I'm less happy about this. But I also got an awesome leather coat from his whole family, so he's forgiven a zillion times over and in the future for any future colds. (He's gonna bring me chicken soup sometime because I brought him chicken soup earlier in the week. Hopefully he'll be over his by then.)

~ It was great to see everyone at Jess's party. ^_^ We need to hang out more. I hope Mike was okay when he woke up, it sounded like he was in a bad way at the end there...

~ New years was boring- I did spend it at work, and all.

~ The deal to sell my job fell through. Kummer says it's over, I'm saying good riddance, but... FUCK, you know? I wanted the sale to go through and have done with HBE. The up-down was killing me, not to mention the Christmas party... Everyone who stepped up to the podium was like: "We're looking towards the future!" and "We're learning from our past efforts..." Everyone in the office is saying that he'll probably start selling the hotels one-by-one. Bye-bye, job.

Aaaand... that's just about the long and short of it.

Oh, wait. And SpiderMan's marriage to Mary Jane has been officially annulled due to Mephisto in the Marvel universe. I'm frustrated that any editor thinks this is a good idea. It would have been better for Aunt May to have died of cancer than to end it with MJ. Aunt May's old, anyway.

Toodles, everyone.
