Parties Gone Mild
I'm currently listening to: David, Mel, Jess, and Mallrats
It's the morning after, and I gotta say- Tom and I arrived a Jessi's party late, and we didn't really miss too much. There were some live drunks... Amy, Lauren, and John-boy (Bobert's brother). However, there was enough alcohol to stock a good pirate ship for a two day trip. Tom and I bought sixty dollars worth of Church's Chicken (after which Tom looked like he was about ready to cry). Thing was- if we would have brought it an hour earlier, we would have missed Jessi's Subway run. When we got there- nobody wanted chicken. Well, four people dug into chicken- Tom, myself, Von (french fries), and David.
Roll call for the party was:
Jess and Jimmy
Tom and I
Athene and John (her boyfriend/date)
Laura, JR, baby Brooke, and Connie (JR's sister)
Von, Bobert, and John-boy
Melody, David, Mike (David's friend)
Lauren and Big John
Amy
Kristen and EJ (but only long enough to recieve presents)
Chris
I got a new henna, but god knows how long that's going to last. I had drawn the design myself back when Jess first got her henna kit, and she's been doing it for me occasionally since. (Hence why half of my comics from skewed shows me with a henna on my arm.) I think the last time I had one was before I had met Tom- it started fading the last week of my second round of college finals. It's pretty funny how much attention gets drawn to it- "Does it hurt? How long does it last? Where can I get one?"
Complete tangent- Actually, I think Jess should sell her henna sources- hmm, that wouldn't be such a bad idea! If you live in the St. Louis area and have an inclination, leave a comment and we'll see where to go from there. I can promise that her prices will be a helluvalot cheaper than most henna stalls at fairs and- well- most places in general. Unless you want to do them yourself. Then you just sorta pay for supplies and have to struggle with the ink yourself.
Aaaanywho, the party was tame for the most part. There was a broken bottle by John-boy, I had a grape soda bottle fizz all over my outfit, Amy wandered around looking for Bob the cat before complaining about getting sober, A game of Axies and Allies was set up by Tom/JR/Mike/David, New Years Eve got one couple smaller, nearly all of the chicken got et (and I had the last biscut for breakfast), and the final group crashed at four in the morning. There was a one round game of low-card dare, and truth or dare Jenga (Athene had to imitate Amy and Amy got to blow a raspberry on JR's tummy), I gave out a third of my bank account in gifts and everyone had a grand 'ol time watching Robin Williams.
It was fun, I guess, but certainly not as wild as it could've been. Still looking foward to the next one. So, um, when is it?
