Does It Get More Surreal Than This?
I'm currently listening to: "Normal Days" on LAUNCHcast
I've been waking up in a new house for just about five days now. To be perfectly honest, it's rather strange. I'd love to say that it's just like getting into a new dorm- but I don't know what that's like. I have a new stepbrother that I see when he rolls out of bed at about noon or so and jumps on the computer. I have a new stepsister, who I share a bathroom with. (Ah, the people that I have to find aliases for.)
Big Daddy has been trying to make a good impression on us kids... he's sleeping downstairs on the couch while Kay is sleeping in the Master Bedroom. Of course, that's only going to last until the wedding. I'm sure that Dad'll be happy to use a normal alarm to get up for work instead of his cell.
Meantimes, Tarrith leaves about mid-morning or so to visit his girlfriend, but is usually back by the afternoon. The stepsister usually leaves about nine or so to hang with her friends until she stumbles in at two or so. The two of them will be leaving for college soon... Tarrith staying at the house until after the fall season, the latter opting to stay on campus, although she's technically in town.
And me? I'm just here, enjoying the 700 working channels on our digital cable, the wireless internet on my laptop, the phone calls from my friends and Drac, and feeling like this is the closest I've had to a vacation all summer.
You know, life is good.

Don't woory, Moues. It may take a while to get used to a new home, but it usually doesn't take very long. I got used to it kinda quick. Of course, I wake up every morning to the handsomest man in the world (no, I'm not partial ^_^) and live with spiffy in-laws, but the idea is still the same: getting used to new surroundings.

Like I said (on his blog) to the person who shall not be named on this blog, "How do you rule when there's nothing to rule?"
