It's like lemonade- Sweet, Tangy, and Refreshing!

Not Even Fair

Okay, I'm back on my normal schedule except for one little minor detail- I can't sleep.

Well, I can physically sleep. For four hours. I think it was three the other day. But at work I was nearly falling asleep on my keyboard from boredom, lack of calls, and sheer exhaustion. Getting home might've been a problem if Tarrith hadn't called me with a nifty excursion of creativity to explore later. (When it happens, I'll tell more.)

I could really use a suggestion for a knock-me-out method besides a hot toddy.

Maybe it has to do with the moon.

Last night I was walking back inside the building after moving my car from a disturbingly unlit part of the lot to a closer spot so I wouldn't have to walk so far at the end of my shift. After all, I thought that the cold air might wake me up, as the soda I'd had didn't have nearly enough caffine to make a dent in my resistance. So there I am, crossing the lot when there's a shower if silver light that spreads across the parking lot, beginning somewhere from my left-hand side.

Sure enough, I look left, and up, and there's the saucer-sized moon peeking out from a hole in the translucent clouds.

Either the moon attacked me, or the lack of sleep is making me hallucinate.
